Integrity is an essential app for webmasters that crawls your site reporting broken links. If you've maintained a website for any length of time, you'll know that links very quickly become broken. We all move, delete or change pages, and when we do, it not only results in our own internal links breaking, but other people's links to our website becoming broken. Similarly, when other people alter their pages, our own external links become broken. A broken link on your site is a dead end for your visitors and will also be bad news for your search engine optimisation (SEO). Unless you enjoy clicking every single link on your site followed by the back button, then you'll need to use a link crawler like Integrity. Feed it your home page URL and Integrity will spider your site, following internal links to find all of your pages, checking each link found.
What's new in this version: Major improvements to the data storage and engine meaning that even small sites will crawl more quickly and large sites will crawl very much more quickly without slowing down or losing responsiveness
When stop button is pressed, all open threads are abandoned, and then recreated if 'continue' is pressed. Gives a much better user experience
Routines for 'by page' view re-written to avoid apparent hanging at the end of the crawl of a big site

While I've only given this application a quick test run, it seems it has everything I was looking for. I used to use Xenu though recently switched over to Mac and was not available for this OS. After a brief search I came across this product. Not only was I pleasantly surprised, but it looks to be a superior product. I highly recommend!

One of my history websites has over 160 pages, each with dozens of internal and external links and linked images.
Integrity found errors that had been there for months.
AND, it generates site maps for Google submission!

Its a time saver and reputation protector for anyone making a website. A simple run lists all good links and the bad ones. A simple click gives more info in a separate window and usually in seconds one can identify the trouble maker.
Time-out on links can be adjusted as well as a few other setting impacting speed and performance.
In one word: a recommender. -

It's fairly easy to use and clear in its messages and a great help in checking one's website for broken links, especially after making changes and updates.
Cons
There is little not to like. Some reported faulty links are not faulty, but reported so because of a time-out and it does not say this and you have to find out yourself.

Apps like Dreamweaver will check your links on the source machine, but you really need to check on the site in place on the server. This utility does a very good job, imo, with reports that are complete and easy to use. Responsive developer, too - a recent upgrade misplaced the ability to resize a column. The developer fixed it as soon as she heard about it.
The developer notes that there is a very full-featured link checker available for Windoze. She rates that more highly than her own effort, but wanted something on the Mac side. If she hadn't noted the existence of the PC link checker, I'd have rated Integrity as a five-star but I'll defer to her opinion and award Integrity four stars (with a bullet). -

I have a few sites that are in excess of 20 gigs each and checking all the links and keeping them accurate was a real job. Integrity is a blessing and a HUGE time saver. This would be well worth paying for. Itâ??s much better than some I tried that were paid products and basically worthless. This one ROCKS!!!
