Version: Instant File Find 1.4.8 build 5030

"Finds files that you can't find !!"

Pros: For such a small programme it does a fantastic job. Even as you are typing the name of the lost file, it has started looking for it, and by the time you finish typing, the answer will be there. Wild cards are supported.

Cons: I can't think of anything.

Summary: I used to be a fan of AvaFind but they haven't updated in years. File Find is well designed with a clean, straight forward interface. The results are almost instantaneous even if the file is buried under ten or more sub folders. There are several... read more >>
