Effectively clean and view Index.dat, temporary, and other system files with this easy-to-use freeware utility. Index.dat Suite's button and spreadsheet-style interface may take a few moments to master, but experienced users will find it flexible and robust. The program's short Help file adequately explains the program for less-experienced users.
Index.dat Suite's operation begins with a simple button click to search your hard drives for Index.dat files. The resulting list is easy to browse, with quick single-click display of files with visible contents. Most users without an interest in the DAT files will prefer the single hot-key cleaning tool. Cookies, history, recent lists, temp files, and temporary Internet files are all easily erased. Those who like DOS batch files will appreciate the program's batch creator. One click and the app builds a batch file to delete all found Index.dat files, and clean preset settings such as cookies, history, and temp files. The app goes the extra step by adding the batch file to the Registry's RunOnce hive and creating a Restore Point.
Multiple unexpected, useful functions add to Index.dat Suite's appeal. Custom cleaning options, quick automatic restore points, space utilization information, and other such small functions are simple to implement and provide useful information.
Index.dat Suite's primary file viewing function may be the program's least useful tool, but this freeware offers many tools for system administrators, experienced users, and even novices looking for an effective cleaning tool.

Version: Index.dat Suite 2.10.1
"Great product to help clean your computer."
Pros: It is more comprehensive than most products and in my experience of using it over several years, I have only had good luck with it.
Cons: I would like to see the documentation of what each category contains informationl-wise and what it is used for, both helpful to the user or not and what could be harmful to clean up as well as will help.
Summary: I highly recommend this product, but do some research before deciding to clean up or delete everything that is reported.

Pros: Amazing what you see on the files, I mean sites that you never been to in years!!!
Cons: I don't know yet.
Summary: LOL, If your a privacy buff . It will show you every where you have been. You think you deleted them but they are still there. Cool program.
