"Small program but too slow"
Version: IgRemote 1.8.5
Pros
It's free, the foot print is super small. Only 118 kilobytes. No installation needed (some times this is not good). It works right away after selecting your language.
Cons
Too slow on high resolution and I was running it on a local network (not internet). Does not save connections (server or client), can't hide tray icon. It also can't auto run on start (need to enter password every time). Low grade very basic RDP.
Summary
If you are looking for very basic slow workable remote desktop solution this solution is for you. If you need to save settings, connections, auto start, tray icon hidden and responsive remote desktop then keep looking.
