For privacy seekers, History Destroyer covers almost all the bases. Pop-up windows, spyware, and adware are effectively eliminated; Internet Explorer activity is erased; IP messages are disabled; and Windows detritus is cleaned up. The program offers a host of options and keeps you posted on the details of its activities. The interface isn't anything spectacular, but the functionality is impressive. History Destroyer can remain active on your desktop, continuously working in the background on the tasks you choose. Anyone who shares a computer or suffers from an abundance of advertisements will find History Destroyer a welcome helper.

The program will clean the Internet Explorer cookie folder (and has a cookie manager), Windows temp folder cache, Internet folder history, auto URL complete list, Windows Recycle Bin, Windows temp files and folders, recently run programs, recently opened documents, Media Player's playlist, Windows Clipboard, ScanDisk CHK file, and Windows index .dat files. The program has a pop-up killer, and you can kill pop-ups by window title and blacklist or set the program to autopilot and sit back and relax.
