This simple program is designed to hide or minimize open windows using hot keys, but it frequently locked up and failed to execute selected commands. Hide Any Windows' neatly designed interface displays five preset rules for popular browsers such as Internet Explorer and Firefox. Rules are based on text within window titles, and you can add your own or modify the presets. Program settings are limited to adding password-protection and changing the four hot keys to minimize all windows, hide or restore select windows, or close all browsers. Unlike other programs, you can't add other hot keys or instantly hide all open windows.
Though the hot key to minimize all open windows worked fine, Hide Any Window repeatedly locked up when we tried to hide and restore selected windows, and the hot key to close all browsers didn't work at all in our tests. This 15-day trial program's sporadic performance and limited options won't please most users, and there are plenty of more-reliable programs to prevent others from seeing what's open on your computer.

Version: Hide Any Window 2.5
"(version 3) Nice but with flaws"
Pros: This has good potential. All the right features are thought of.
Cons: The "mute volume" does not work on Vista, and it does not launch new programs I put in the list. I have contacted support twice with no reply. This was first months ago for v2.5, then again a couple weeks ago when I tried v3.
Summary: Maybe try it see if it works for you, but do not expect any support at all. It is simply non existent.
