Publisher's description of Hackety Hack
Hackety Hack is a modern programming kit, free as can be. It includes a conversational tutor that includes 7 short lessons (20 minutes apiece) for learning truly practical stuff, such as writing an IM chat or keeping track of favorite YouTube videos. Hackety Hack is based upon the idea that the Internet has turned everyone into budding hackers who can now grasp coding quickly.
With a built-in browser and program writer, it takes only a few lines of code to write programs that talk to the Web and can be shared with anyone on Linux or Windows. Version 0.5 may include unspecified updates, enhancements, or bug fixes.

Pros: It has alot of options and its really user friendly, any kid will have alot of fun with it and some adults too!
Cons: Its not finished yet but whatever it will be soon!
