I bought growl front the mac app store to help notify me of new mail, but it doesn't work.
Summary
Mail says that it is incompatible with Mail 5 and Message 5 so it disables it. what gives?

I'd been using Mail Appitizer previous to this but I prefer the simplicity of this one. Mail should have it built in anyway but it's Growl that makes it all happen across a number of different apps and it does it very well.
Mail arrives, box pops up and saves you having to come off the work you're on to check the arrival noise in Mail. Excellent.
