The Google Voice extension for Google Chrome adds a button to the toolbar, which displays the number of unread messages in your Google Voice inbox. It also gives you quick access to your most recent messages with transcripts, lets you initiate calls and send free text messages by just typing any number or contact name, and makes phone numbers on websites callable via Google Voice by just clicking on them.
It also adds a pop-up to any highlighted phone number that allows you to instantly initiate a call.

"I would give google voice a 4"

Pros
I have been using Google Voice for about a year now, and I love it. Working as a recruiter I don't have to give out my cell phone number, I give them the google number. I can text my employees, or block them if I choice too.
Cons
For me the only downside, I can not print the calling list. I really need that for future records.
Summary
For a recruiter its a great tool to keep in touch with employees and our clients.
