CNET Editors' review
Fans of the favicon will appreciate the ease of using the free Firefox add-on that places the tiny icons next to your Google search results. Even if you're not familiar with favicons, you've seen them. They're the small, product-branded icons that appear in the URL bar next to a Web address.
Other than downloading and installing it, the program requires nothing from you. You'll immediately notice the favicons next to each search result. If a Web site doesn't have a designated favicon, then the program places a generic, blank page icon next to the link.
If you're bad with recognizing Web addresses, and want to add a visual element to your search results, then this may be the right tool for you.
Publisher's Description
From Sean Catchpole:
Google Icon enhances search results by adding the favicon next to each search result (if available). Icons make it easier to recognize your favorite Web sites and breathe more life into that dull search page.
