It is just too bad that the name "boils in some unfortunate individual's gut." It is a sad world indeed when we judge an application's usefulness by its name.

I was so disappointed when it disappeared after the release of Tiger, and so glad now that it's back. For resizing, cropping and other small tasks, this is the quickest and most efficient utility I've found. Great workd!

It loads quickly (unlike Photoshop) and its more intuitive. There are a LOT of things that its missing in order to compete with products of that caliber, but for a freeware application - this thing is excellent, just excellent. Heck even if I had to pony up a few bones for this one - it would still be worth the money.

Basic editing features (cropping, scaling, etc.) make it more valuable than any picture viewer. My biggest feature request would be to have support for alpha channels (especially for TIFF images).
