Publisher's description of GRID demo
From Codemasters:GRID takes players to beautifully realised and dramatic race locations over three continents to compete in a variety of racing events. Packed with the most powerful race cars--new and classic, circuit and drift--players compete to conquer the most prestigious official race tracks and championships and then go beyond to compete in challenging city-based competitions, through to road events and urban street races.
In Europe, race gamers will compete on the greatest official tracks in prestige Marques including Aston Martin, Koenigsegg and Pagani. Iconic cities across the U.S.--including San Francisco, Washington DC and Detroit and each with their own atmosphere and events--play hosts to diverse street races. Here, high-performance V8 muscle cars set the pace in aggressive closely fought pack competitions. In the Far East, Japanese racing culture sets the tone where night races, including Drift racing, take drivers through neon illuminated cities and to outlying mountain roads. There is also the opportunity to compete in races that operate on the fringes of legality in the back streets and industrial areas of Yokohama.
In this demo, you can charge a Ford Mustang GTR muscle car through the iconic streets of San Francisco, race a BMW 320Si in the Jarama Touring Car Race and drift around the docks of Yokohama in a Nissan Silvia S15. Race against 11 friends on your favorite track and test your mettle online or prove yourself in the single-player game.
This updated playable demo offers the same three events and three cars to choose from, but includes the fixes from the v1.1 patch.

Version: GRID demo 1.1
"cant successfully download it"
Cons: not only is the download speed always 1 to 2 digit kbps, when i usually get 3 digit kbps (from 100-300) and it always has an error somewhere during the process. i waited so long for it to be downloaded overnight and when i wake up, i see that it wasn't successfully downloaded.

Version: GRID demo 1.1
Pros: Very nice graphics and blur motion racing.
Cons: Another failed pc crossover. It seems that all the games developed to support the console franchises these days are failing at optimizing their code and executions to run on a pc smoothly.
An xbox 360 vs today's gaming pc is a comparison by way of pinto vs ferrari, yet somehow the game manufacturer's completely miss the mark. You will need a super gaming pc and if your lucky the game will play well at 1024x768 while keeping a decent refresh rate and responsiveness to your analog controls.
