You don't have to have a 5-megapixel Droid to get good results with FxCamera. The fun, free app contains a set of filters that simulate photo treatment from a Polaroid or toy camera effect to a Warholesque snap. Our favorite? The SymmetriCam view, which drops a flipped copy next to the original image. Autofocus helps keep photos sharp, and a sharing feature helps spread the word. Of course, we'd like to see more filters, and we wish that FxCamera--like every other camera app of its kind--also rolled in some basic editing tools.

What’s new in version 0.7.3

Version 0.7.3 includes bug fix for image shown incorrectly in Polandroid or Fisheye-mode on some devices and Google Analytics for tracking page view within FxCamera.

Used for years but now so bad I had to uninstall it.

Pros
Used to be the best.
Cons
Too many screens before you can take a photo means you can miss opportunities. Clumsily tacked on social features are pointless.
Summary
This used to be my favourite android photography app, but the last few releases have completely broken the experience to the point where I've just uninstalled it.

Pros
I love it you have so many different options (i LOVE the symmetricam) and effects as well plus thanks to android its easier than ever to upload photos to email or flicker/facebook etc ...[ kshezeppelin flicker]
Cons
none except maybe (and I am being picky) they could add a video feature
