This action RPG sends original, amusing superheroes back in time for a genre-busting adventure. Freedom Force vs. The Third Reich showcases classic comic-book graphics and a well-designed interface, and six levels of difficulty will please any gamer. A generous single-player mission, one skirmish map for multiplayer action, and assorted goodies such as Tombstone's background story all add up to a top rating.
In the single-player portion of the demo, you control Green Genie, Black Jack, Tombstone, and El Diablo, who must stop the Nazis from destroying rare manuscripts. You also need to keep Tombstone alive the whole time so he can interrogate Nazi soldiers. The control system and gameplay resemble those of real-time strategy games. Move across the map with the mouse or keyboard, hold down the Alt key to rotate the map, and use the mouse wheel to zoom in or out. The interface works flawlessly, and the game looks fantastic. You select characters by left-clicking them or typing their numbers. Each character has a wide variety of attacks and moves available on a contextual right-mouse menu. The download is large, but the amount of content provided lets you figure out whether the full game is up your alley.
Publisher's description
From VU Games :New threats call for new heroes to rise. As Nuclear Winter returns with a new ploy to destroy Freedom Force and the free world, three new Silver Age heroes--Tombstone, Green Genie, and Quetzacoatl--step up to help thwart evil. When the "Pesky Ruskie's" plan unfurls, Freedom Force finds itself transported to war-torn Europe circa WWII. The team will have to make an alliance with Sky King, Black Jack, and Tricolour, three Golden Age heroes willing to sacrifice everything to save the world from the evil axis powers.
Freedom Force vs. The Third Reich features six new playable characters as well as a hoard of new villains, a brand-new engine with radically enhanced graphics, and vastly improved multiplayer functionality, including several brand-new modes.
This demo contains one single-player mission, one multiplayer map, and the option for a skirmish mode. The introduction sequence also treats viewers to the story of the origin of the dark vigilante Tombstone.

"Its like a never ending good movie and youre in control"
Pros: This game Rocks! I cant say enough about it. The game play is easy to master and the characters are truly amazing and varied and customizable. The music and intercut comic book narrations are the best!
Cons: I dont find anything wrong with this game. It was easy to play and fun. HOURS went by and it felt like 30 minutes I was floored!
