I have been searching for a good app to view Visio files and I am so glad to have found the Free Visio Viewer tool online for free. The app is nicely designed to open and view Visio files without any hassles. This freeware tool is also ingrained with a number of other good features.
- MS provides a visio viewer that only works as IE extension :-(
- There seems to be a decent viewer from a competitor program which only works when I upload my files to their server on the web :-(
- So this software seems right for working offline as a standalone application. It installed nicely and looks good.
But it is *absolutely unusable for me* since the files I need to view are written in the new format. Too bad the description doesn't say so.
