This application enables you to surf the Web anonymously, although understanding its processes may prove difficult for novice users. Free ProxyWay Anonymous Surfing's multifaceted main window lets you create a proxy list for Internet Explorer, Mozilla, Netscape, and Opera, then checks them for high, transparent, or unknown anonymity levels. A painstakingly long visit to the program's help file is a must--just to get a jumpstart. To begin, you'll manually input proxies or enter a URL where proxies can be located automatically. At a snail's pace the program successfully checks and returns a long list of available proxies, though it's unclear as to what to do next. Free ProxyWay Anonymous Surfing works in conjunction with your browser so you must configure your system's Internet settings on the control panel to actually hide your IP using the detected proxy list. While it is free, you won't find difficulty in locating an IP masker with fewer hoops.Publisher's description

Version: Free ProxyWay anonymous surfing 2.6
"VER 4.3 IS OUT NOW (much better than this ver)"
Pros: hide your ip by using a proxy from a different country.
this will find the different proxy's address from the sites you put in and check them all for you to see if there good or not..
this was the only free app i could find that did it all ..
Cons: very confusing the help section could be a lot better, sometimes it confuses you more ..but you do get used to it...
works sometimes and not others ..
does not always get the lists from the site you provide so you have to get them manually..
much easier /simple alternative is TorPark

"This one works with some drawbacks (I'm using the newer version 3.3)."
Pros: CAN manipulate my IP and free.
BTW I'm using v3.3 which I downloaded from the maker's web site.
Cons: The checker is very very slow.
Very very difficult to use even with the help documents.

Pros: when i first read "kkian's" review i almost didn't try it...Glad I did This system is great but like all, one must learn how to use it (it's not for the novice)..be sure and change your browser proxy (I use firefox)! I also used whatismyip.net to check it and it worked! Can't believe it's free!

"Trial expires right after installation. Piece of junk."
Pros: Nothing
Cons: As of July 9 2007.
Downloaded. Installed.
Immediatly screen poped up- Trial has expired.
Could not uninstall until went to the Safe Mode.
Don't bother. This "Free" download is garbage.
