  Pros

  My friends recommend this Free Blu-ray player to me. In the beginning, I really doubt that it will like other freeware popping up ads. Oh, I'm wrong. This software is absolutely free to use. Now, I can freely play blu-rays on my Mac Pro without any problem. Love it so much.

  Does not support DVD playback.

  As the publisher of this product states, unlike the Pro version, the Free version does not play 1080 HD. So, it is a waste of time if you want to play high definition blue ray. It is just a marketing scam to encourage purchase of the paid for version.

  It does actually play the disc.

  Cons

  The disc plays but the quality is so poor you're better off watching a DVD. There's also a watermark in the corner that won't go away unless you buy the pro-version. And contrary to the other reviews, the interface is clunky and lacks basic features found in other media players, such as hitting space bar to pause and esc to exit fullscreen.

  This is not just a perfet Blu-ray player, it's an excellent video player as well. Like we never expect a freeware to be a mighty fuctional one, we also seldom imagine a freeware doing such a brilliant job. The whole playback goes without any disturbance or glitches.

  Pros

  Though it is a free blu-ray player, it is not inferior to any paid one. I use it to enjoy my Blu-ray collections on my Mac Pro and the playing effect is wonderful.
