  None, this thing tries to circumvent virus checks by going through a two-stage installation process.

  Cons

  On the second step you CANNOT simply save the exe file and scan it. It takes over your browser and installs some Filter program garbage changing your default setting.

  Summary

  DO NOT INSTALL THIS PIECE OF TRASH CNET SHOULD BE ASHAMED FOR LEAVING THIS MALWARE ON THEIR SITE.

  in the terms it says there are programs to add "search-related ads, banner and video ads, in-text ads and links, transitional, interstitial and full page ads" that may or may not be "endorsed" by the company. lots of other nasty stuff in there.

  The .exe file with also install 3 bullshit "utility" programs, 1 bullshit browser add on and then fuck with your bowser settings. I downloaded this after I read the reviews. It looked to be verified safe to install. I think the publishers release a "clean" copy at first. After cnet and users review it and verify it is safe, the publisher then releases a version that installs all sort of crap. After install, I had 3 bullshit malware "utilities" on my system. I am running IE 11 and that was all fucked up also. It had installed an add on that ran a bunch of ads with links to malicious software and changed the configurations for search engines and home page. Because the malware is built as "utility" software antivirus will not detect or remove it. You will have to remove it manually and it is a pain. It took me about an hour to find and remove everything. I hope nobody ever fall for this garbage again.

  i didnt get around to using it before i uninstalled it.

  I installed the program and it put adware on my computer which caused tons of nasty ads to pop up on web pages i would go to that normally dont have ads. Had to uninstall like 10 things of adware.

• Jam Packed with Hidden Spyware - BEWARE

  I like the program itself, but my complaint is the shady spyware bundled with it.

  Yes, it gives you the option at the beginning of installation if you want to "change your default search engine to Conduit and prevent any programs from overriding that" but even after carefully turning down all these offers my Malwarebytes still went berserk on me.

  Summary

  I am disappointed in CNET for allowing such harmful spyware to surreptitiously ride along with this download and installation.
