Though slightly labor intensive, this Firefox add-on could become your shopping list utility of choice. Both Foxcart's input and list interfaces are simple, clean, and mouse-driven. Installation follows the Firefox add-on single-click process, but is designed for Firefox 2 only. You're not going to find a Help file, simple instructions, or anything other than a shopping cart in your status bar.
Right click the status bar shopping cart icon and Foxcart displays a simple list of items in your cart. Highlight one to see all saved information about that item. It's easy to maintain multiple shopping carts, and add, delete, or edit items.
We were disappointed that some Foxcart links to the publisher's homepage failed, and that there doesn't seem to be a version for Firefox 3. However, this free add-on will quickly become the shopping list of choice for savvy consumers who still have Firefox 2.
