"Very elegant looking: a virtually useless application."
Version: Fontcase 2.1.3.1
Pros
Pretty and unusual; visually fun to play with for the first 10 minutes of ownership. Useful to see what fonts look like, as are most other font apps.
Cons
I have a version 2.1.4 on my iMac (created 15-12-2012 8:23) but the website says 2.1.3.1 is the latest available (created 15-12-2012 8:32): i.e. my non-existent version is 1 second newer.
For support I tried to get the facts on it from "Support", and found plenty of FAQs which did not answer the question but could find no way to talk to a human being; no matter whether elegant or not I would have loved be able to talk to one!
A total waste of time and the expensive purchase price.Summary
It lies unused in my App folder. Stay clear and buy a few coffees or beers with the purchase price, but wait until the software actually does something useful before wasting money on it.
