CNET Editors' review
As its moniker suggests, this Internet Explorer plug-in quickly captures Flash applets and images from Web pages, but it supports only a few Web browsers. Like other apps in this class, Flash and Media Capture places an additional toolbar atop your Internet Explorer. The program's sleek, easy-to-operate interface houses a preview panel and a couple of save options for media and Flash files. It quickly captures images and Flash applets upon opening Web pages, and then autosaves images and applets in a user-defined directory. We also liked the preview panel, which allows users to view objects and images before storing them in folders. Users can conveniently turn the autosave feature on or off and autosave images only with specific dimensions. Flash and Media Capture handles well and demonstrated good speed during assessment. Our main complaint is that it only works with Internet Explorer and Maxthon browsers, excluding other popular browsers like Firefox and Opera. Nonetheless, most users will find Flash and Media Capture handy and easily accessible.Publisher's Description

"product failed to create tool bar"
Version: Flash and Media Capture 1.0.1
Pros
Nothing, product does not work and worse no instructions on how to use product if I could even find it
Cons
Nothing, product does not work and worse no instructions on how to use product if I could even find it
Summary
During the installation process I was asked about placing a check mark next to something I don't know what it is. This should be explained more in detail. After installation the capture options dialog came up with no information or instructions so that I could actually set it up. After that window went away, nothing, not even a window that said thank you for installing this product you are now finished with the installation process. At this point I opened a web page where there is flash media content and nothing happened. There is no information on the manufactures web sight on how to use/operate the program. I can only wonder what CNET is up to lately offering s/w of this low quality?
