Quick, with an easy-to-use interface, this application lets you create digital slide shows in the Flash format. You initially may be surprised by Flash Album Creator s extremely basic interface, but the plain-vanilla look belies the program's simple step-by-step operation. Once you've selected the desired images, the default output is an SWF file with a built-in navigation bar. You also can save the file as an HTML gallery or an EXE file. Customization options include the ability to hide the navigation bar, specify frame size, adjust picture quality, change background color, enable a fade transition, and add an endless loop function. The demo appears to disable certain other features, such as the ability to set image interval and test your creations before building them. Though it's a capable program for sharing your images, you can't edit slide shows once they have been created. Flash Album Creator best suits novices who value ease of use of bells and whistles.
