Flappy Golf features a flying golf ball that you control by tapping on the screen with the ultimate goal of getting it in the hole and advancing to new levels. While this may sound similar to many other games hitting the App Store these days, Flappy Golf has a lot more to offer than most of its competitors.
Lots of levels: Unlike many of the similar games out there right now, Flappy Golf features individual levels, or holes, for you to attempt. The goal is to get the ball into the hole with the fewest number of taps possible, and you get a different colored star based on how many taps it takes you. Each level is different, too, and the ball can move in either direction based on where you tap the screen, opening up even more possibilities.
Solo or multiplayer: If you want to enjoy this game by yourself, you'll have plenty to keep you busy. But if you'd rather play with friends from time to time, you can take advantage of either the local or online multiplayer to mix things up a bit.
Tiny ball: Because there's so much to pack into the interface for each hole, the ball is very small, and so may be tough to track for some. But the graphics are very good, so once you get used to the way it moves, you should be OK.
No panning: When each new level opens, you get to see a shot of where the hole is, and then the view moves to where your ball sits. But if you miss that shot, or if you just want to check again to see the layout of the level before you begin, you're out of luck. Touching the screen just sends your ball up into the air, and your taps are immediately being counted.
When you're looking for something a little more engaging and stimulating than similar games offer, Flappy Golf is the game to try. Its combination of great graphics and a huge variety of self-contained levels makes it a fun diversion whether you've got a couple minutes or a couple hours to kill.
