First class offering real code help
I like that it's free.
Imposes on you. You can't control it. You can not turn it off.
I am not a savvy PC user and I wish I knew how I benefit from this application. I also wish it had an on-off feature to allow me to find out on my own. You are stuck with it. You do not know what benefit you are receiving from it. At times it makes no sense when the icon shows up, so it feels intrusive. Why is the icon "on" when I am not playing any video nor audio files? Can someone please tell me how to control this application? Thanx!
Has every codec I've ever needed, not much more I could ask for, cooler name perhaps?
Seems to have one or two unnecessary codecs, but 'spose it's better than the alternative
I don't like a thing about it

unable to uninstall
I love this product. I download it and use it. I never have to configure it. Whenever my machine gets video errors, I install this product and the problem goes away.
The configuration options are way too confusing. Luckily I never had to configure it.
Get it! Use it!
i use bs player pro for quite some time and i can't help but notice that ffdshow is the only codec pack it uses to decompres audio and video.. and they both come out great.. so i give this little programe two thumbs up :)
to use it download, run the setup and install, then restart you computer and then you will probvably never have to touch this again, most good media players route out the required decoding software when you try and play a file, so i like the ease of use and the fact that its maintenance free.
Been using it for years and is the only decoder I have ever needed. I researched many codecs before deciding on this one on the advice of many who know more than myself. I've never had a problem with it and its stingy on resources. Despite what other reviews say, there is no spyware. People should learn more about how codecs work and not download so many as THAT could lead to bad things.
It hasn't been updated in a while. But it's so good it doesn't need to.
