From HalfPriceSoft :ezW2 2008 is a W2/1099 printing software. It was approved by SSA (Social Security Administration) to print forms W2 Copy A and W3 in black and white on plain paper with laser printer. The main advantage to small business owners who use w2 software is that it saves their money on printing w-2/w-3 forms on white paper instead of red-ink forms, and save their time in calibrating the printer - and that is especially true during these economic times.
W2 Copy A: Print data on preprint red-ink form or print SSA-Approved laser substitute for W2 Copy A on plain white paper. For Social Security Administration. - W2 Copy B: To be filed with the employee's federal income tax returns. - W2 Copy C: For employee's record. - W2 Copy D: For employer. - W2 Copy 1: To be filed with the employee's state or local income tax returns (if any). - W2 Copy 2: To be filed with the employee's state or local income tax returns (if any). - Laser W3 form: Transmittal of Wage and Tax Statements. - Print data on preprint red-ink form or print SSA-Approved laser substitute. - 1099 MISC Copy A: For internal Revenue Service Center. - 1099 MISC Copy B: For recipient. - 1099 MISC Copy C: For Payer. - 1099 misc Copy 1: For state tax department. - 1099 misc Copy 2: To be filed with recipient's state income tax return (if any).

Pros: Very user friendly and straight forward.
Cons: It can print w-2/w-3 on blank paper and save some money on red-forms
Summary: I do not need to read user guide to figure out how to use it.
