"Earlier version still better"
Version: Email Remover 3.0
Pros
Very easy to use and install. It works well on all Windows based systems from '95 on up.
Cons
Version 2.4 of this program is still a better download. It requires no installation and fits neatly on a floppy disk, which you can use on any PC. The HTML preview screen in version 3.0 doesn't work worth a flip. Stick with the older version and you'll be much happier.

"Great for handling large numbers of emails"
Version: Email Remover 3.0
Pros
I downloaded this programme after I was spammed with 13000 emails within the space of a few hours and needed a fast way of deleting most of them (it would be easy to have deleted all of them but there were some genuine emails mixed in which needed filtering). I use mailwasher to preview my emails but when it came to handling this number of emails, it struggled; it took me over an hour just to download a quarter of the emails using mailwasher. I dread to think how long it would have taken to download them all & then delete them. Anyway, email remover 3.0 retrieved, filtered and then deleted all 13000 emails in about 15 minutes including set up time.
Plus it was only 1.5MB so I can afford to keep it on my hard drive in case this happens again

"Quick, simple to install, EZ setup & works!-"
Version: Email Remover 3.0
Summary
If all you want to do is delete spam before it reaches your email client, this is for YOU! No scientific parameters, algorithmns, etc., just "click!" to mark all messages for deletion, browse to see if there's any you might actually want to "unclick", then "click" again & wave 'em "bye-bye!" If you like, you can start your email program automatically after quitting Email Remover. It's quick and easy to install and set up. It rapidly retrieves mail on your server and just as rapidly deletes your spam! There's even a few more options available. I was a former MailWasher freeware user. I highly recommend ths program!
