Though this software is intended to assist alternative-medicine practitioners with patient analysis and treatment, its trial version is light on said assistance. Electro Meridian Analysis System has a fairly well-designed interface that allows you to input minimal patient information and values for more than 20 points on the hands and feet. The program provides a Meridian chart and Ryodoraku analysis to aid patient diagnosis, but other tools such as acupuncture and acupressure recommendations aren't offered in the trial version. The program contains a library with information on Meridian analysis that also lets you add acupuncture, acupressure, and general protocols, but it doesn't provide any guidance on entering the information. Because so many features aren't available in the trial version, it's hard to get an accurate feel for this software. Alternative health care providers looking for a comprehensive patient-management system and analysis tool will be disappointed with this application's minimal capabilities and output.

Publisher's description

From Health Epoch :

Electro Meridian Analysis System (EMAS 2005) is comprised of a measuring device and application software. It uses the Ryodoraku theory which was invented in Japan and had been used for more than 50 years. It guides you in measuring 24 points on the hands and feet in just three minutes and automatically inputs the 24 energy values into the computer. EMAS 2005 instantly gives you different types of information, including a Ryodoraku chart, ratios and analyses. It also suggests different types of treatments, including acupuncture (four styles), acupressure (three styles), Chinese herbs (for over 200 kinds of diseases), and essential oils. You can also define your own treatment style. The professional client management system and report printing system will greatly enhance your clinic's image. EMAS is a product to promote your business and increase your power in meridian diagnosis.
