Publisher's description
From LinguArabica :Eiktub is a software product designed for writing Arabic using an English keyboard. Eiktub, which has a similar look and feel to the Windows Notepad, uses a transliteration scheme to convert Latin keystrokes to their Arabic counterpart based on the phonetics of the Arabic language. In Eiktub Arabic is written as it is heard and words come out automatically vowelized (tashkiil) - a major advantage over the traditional Arabic keyboard where vowelization is often omitted due to the difficulty and inefficiency of the traditional keyboard layout.
Eiktub is especially helpful to students who are learning Arabic as a foreign language as well as Arabic speakers who are not familiar with (or do not have access to) a standard Arabic Keyboard. Version 1.2 includes an Auto-sukuun feature.
