  5 hrs scanning, found no photos. It installed Photojoy which kept popping up. It installed a toolbar on my browser and changed my home page. after un-installing , I had to change my computer back to my settings. I hope there are no more surprises.

  Restores BUT you can't have it unless you BUY it. I only had five photos that were on my SD card. A free program was what I was looking for, this was not it.

  Summary

  It certainly works. If you have many pictures that you need restored then $20 is not a bad price to pay. But it should not be touted as FREE, because it is not.

• Fast/Efficient, Reasonable Price, 100% Recovery, Minolta Dimage Xt w/SD Card

  This is a great product at a reasonable price. I accidentally deleted all my pics from my Minolta Dimage XT SD card, and Easy Photo Recovery was able to recover them ALL from the SD card loaded in my camera & connected via USB (I'm sure it helped that I left the card alone -- no new photos, for example -- before attempting recovery). You can preview the pics that can be recovered BEFORE you buy it, so there's no risk. Installing the program on Windows 2000 Pro. was easy, buying & installing the license was fairly straightforward (though you have to go through several screens and paypal is required). It was also convenient that buying/installing the license did not interrupt the recovery process. The end result was great --- I was able to recover 100% of my photos, and I would definitely do it again.

  Could have fewer screens to buy & install the license, but very minor complaint.

  Pros

  I spent hours trying every free and demo file recovery software applications, and only this worked for me. This is the best recovery tool for a reasonable price.
