Easy Image Modifier is a lightweight program that resizes and changes the formats of image files. It's a no-frills utility that's nice to have for quick, basic photo edits.
The program's interface is quite small, with most of its features displayed on the main screen. There's a space for users to drag and drop one or more images, which is handy. Users can then resize the images, select a new format (JPEG, PNG, or BMP), choose a new file name, and specify a destination for the new file. A couple of menus within the program contain other features, such as orientation changing, the removal of meta data from JEPG files, and a compression quality adjustment. Once you've selected your changes, you simply click a button, and Easy Image Modifier performs the chosen modifications and saves the images in the destination folder. The built-in Help file is quite brief, but the program is fairly self explanatory. Easy Image Modifier is aptly named, although some users may need something a little more powerful--we've seen similar programs with more file formats, for example. However, it's a great choice if you prefer a simple tool to a complex one. If you need to resize batches of photos to be posted on the Internet, for example, you'll appreciate Easy Image Modifier's simple operation and basic features.
Easy Image Modifier is free. It comes as a ZIP file and runs after extraction with no need for installation. We recommend this program to all users.

Easy Image Modifier allows you to modify batches of images quickly to be sent via email, posted on the Internet or just for archiving purposes. Easy Image Modifier offers many interesting features: You can change the dimension of your images (fixed value for width and height or by percent), flip or rotate them, rename the file, add a watermark text and also choose to convert the file format. Even advanced options such as the removal of personal identifiable Meta information, filtering after certain conditions, disproportional resizing, customizable image quality, sorting and much more are comfortably set up. The new image and processing preview serves as an intuitive aid.
What's new in this version: Version 4.6 added possibility to pad the image border to a target resolution with color, transparency or pixel-repetition filling option.

If you want an editor, try GIMP .. more features and it's not feature limited as the 'Free' version is here.

Pros
You can add a whole folder of photos with the greatest of ease, and very quickly shrink them all in one go. That to me is the prime feature of this product.
Cons
I'd like to see a bigger range of compression percentages.
Summary
In my search for a fast and easy to use photo compressor for archiving, I've looked at many and tried a few. Most didn't meet my requirements, some were quite good, but this one is the best overall for its ease of use, its speed, and of course it is free.
