Ease Audio Converter is an audio converter, which can convert audio formats MP3, WAV, WMA, OGG, AAC, APE, FLAC, MP4, M4A, MPC(MusePack),AC3, ofr (OptimFROG), SPX(Speex), TTA,Ra,MP2 and WavePack from one to another. It can convert from MP3 to WAV and OGG, and WAV to MP3 and WMA. It has a recording function that allows you to record from line-in (cassette, LP, etc.) streaming audio, or any other source available on your system. Other helpful features include audio cutter,audio-volume normalization, resampling, and supports 5.1 or 7.1 channels WMA file, the ability to edit tag information, and autorenaming with tag information.

Version 4.8 is a bug fixing release.

Get all your audio ducks in a row with this straightforward file converter. Ease Audio Converter, though fairly basic, performed well in our tests. It takes files in some of the more popular audio formats, including WAV, WMA, MP3, and OGG, and converts them in batch mode. The intuitive, well-designed interface provides simple one-button controls and drop-down menus. The program offers an adequate number of output options, including adjustments for sample rate, bit rate, and number of audio channels. What's more, the MP3-file conversion supports variable-bit-rate (VBR) compression, though you can disable this option if you like. Though Ease Audio Converter doesn't include options for burning or ripping CDs, it's powerful enough for most people who want to convert files en masse. We only wish the trial version could convert more than 30 files. Overall, this is a reliable, basic program for audio conversion.

  Version: Ease Audio Converter 4.8

  "rubbish"

  Pros: free.

  Cons: You get what you pay for, wouldn't even add my files to the list to convert so i can't really tell you if it converts good or not. I have tried adding mp3's, .tta's and even .wav's only to be met with a blank list. Ended up using JetAudio.
