DynDNS Updater is a lightweight application designed to keep hostnames in DynDNS' free and paid DNS services up-to-date with your current IP address. This allows one to run Web or e-mail services at home, even on a dynamic IP address.

I was able to set it and forget it. Regular updates are provided. Wide variety of domain name choices allow you to find something that seems tolerable given that it's free. The very rare maintenance and other interruptions are communicated openly so you are aware of what's going on with connectivity. When I need something more capable I'll come to these guys.
Cons
Nothing after 4 months of use.

with this product you will need to do everything by yourself ie. install a web server, author your pages, tell your friends the url every time you add new photo/video/music that you want to share, generate thumbnails etc.
