  Flag all correspondence and newsletters from DynDNS as spam...feel good.

  Cons

  They dropped their free accounts and now force those with legacy free accounts to manually update their account every month. They promised free accounts and ingratiated themselves with many router/modem manufacturers so that they are the only dynamic DNS option built into the firmware of many models. Steer clear of these scumbags and use a free service from this list; http://dnslookup.me/dynamic-dns/

  Pros

  I was able to set it and forget it. Regular updates are provided. Wide variety of domain name choices allow you to find something that seems tolerable given that it's free. The very rare maintenance and other interruptions are communicated openly so you are aware of what's going on with connectivity. When I need something more capable I'll come to these guys.

  I enjoy this application because it does the work I need it to do. It offers a very simple service with no gimmicks: Dynamic DNS. Kudos to the author.

  with this product you will need to do everything by yourself ie. install a web server, author your pages, tell your friends the url every time you add new photo/video/music that you want to share, generate thumbnails etc.
