Dupin is your iTunes duplicates manager. Dupin finds sets of duplicate tracks in iTunes based on the criteria you choose. It can then automatically select the "Keeper" tracks from among the duplicates using a variety of versatile filter options. Dupin is flexible, fast, and easy to use.
What's new in this version:
- Added "Filename" to Criteria (recognizes local files only)
- Added ability to play/view selected tracks in QuickLook panel via spacebar (OS X 10.7+)
- Updated "Get Info" window, incorporating play/pause album artwork thumbnail (OS X 10.7+)
- Improved sorting algorithms
- Addressed issues with restoring windows
- Moved "List Font Size" options from Preferences to View menu

Frequentluy freezes even when dealing with a relatively small number of songs (100-200); counter-intuitive; 'help' instructions incorrect; generally frustrating and fails to deliver.

Dupin fails to remove duplicate tracks, is very very slow, seems to be confused when you click on purge and have de-selected the duplicate tracks you want to be removed. Doesn't do anything after saying purging for hours. -

Fast, accurate, flexible and easy to use. My library was about 30,000 songs with about 5,000 dupes. This software found and eliminated them immediately. The time it saved me was worth the cost of the app. I won't need if often, but I got my value out of it on the first use. -

I have a very large iTunes library, in excess of 17,000 tracks, and inevitably there are going to be duplications. Dupin makes it ridiculously easy to isolate and remove such dupes, best £7.50 I've spent on software for a long time.
