Although it pairs two potentially useful privacy programs into one, this application doesn't deliver across the board as expected.
2in1 Privacy Folder & Password Manager can instantly hide any folder on your computer in a couple of clicks. Unlocking them is just as easy on the unsophisticated interface, although some other folder-management options would have been helpful.
Performance goes sour when you access the password manager. It does save URLs with your corresponding user ID, password, and any notes you want kept handy. After enabling 2in1's autofill feature, a convenient right-click on the log-in fields of your stored Web site reveals options to insert your log-in data. Convenient or not, though, the tiny window to automatically insert our info just didn't work.
For masking private information we like this 30-use trial, but the malfunctioning password manager weighs it down.

All the data are saved in one-or-more data files, which are encrypted with AES (Advanced Encryption Standard). You can edit the data on the server program, and save the data file to a network share folder, then allow multiple clients to access the same data file at the same time.
