While we liked the features of this slick download manager, it suffers from frustrating stability issues. Download Boost was able to sufficiently speed up downloads, but we ran into problems on occasion when the program didn't recognize a stream or lost one without warning. While the program is integrated with Internet Explorer, communications between browser and program aren't seamless--we received many error messages during download testing. Program features are basic, allowing the scheduling of downloads and logging on to password-protected sites. The interface is very stylish, but we weren't pleased with pop-up windows that appear with every download. Until these various integration issues are ironed out, we can't recommend Download Boost without reservation.Publisher's description
