iMazing is a powerful tool for Mac and Windows that provides users with additional features and capabilities to manage and interact with their iOS devices & legacy iPods beyond what Apple supports out of the box.
This lets you avoid using iTunes and allows you to transfer files from a computer to an iphon/ipod/ipad. That is nice as long as it works. It will stop working. See below.
Cons
When Apple upgraded to iOS 10, I upgraded my iDevices as a responsible IT owner. But then iMazing stopped working on those devices. Basically, it seems, I have to pay for an iMazing upgrade because I accepted an iOS upgrade. This is not standard industry practice, and I am miffed.
Summary
If you want to keep paying, and paying, and paying, use IMazing. I am going to try to find something else.
Buyer Beware! YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR UPDATES!
Jmsped00
Pros
Great software.
Cons
Horrible experience with the company! I purchased this software less than a year ago. Now I must pay to upgrade it so it works with IOS 10. I could see needing to pay or upgrade if I have been using the software for years, but not less than one year. BE WARNED.
Summary
Does the job well.

Beware of the C/NET Installer for iMazing
garyddavis
Pros
I haven't even run the program yet- I am recovering from the awful experience of running the "CNET-Installer.app" on my Mac. THIS IS A HUGE HURDLE.
Cons
C/NET is not as trustworthy as I would have hoped. The "Download" link downloads the CNET-Installer app. You have to use THAT to then download iMazing, but BEWARE of two gotchas in that installer. First, they give you the "standard" install which would default your browser to a Yahoo page, with an added toolbar, and some other crap. You have to select "Custom" install and the uncheck all the unwanted options (and they are definitely UNWANTED). OK that, and it takes you to another "Install" page which is NOT iMazing, but instead some sort of other "protection" program, and fortunately I saw that and clicked "Cancel" WHICH DOESN'T cancel all installs as CNET is hoping you'll believe, it just doesn't install the crapware. Click Cancel, and then you get to install iMazing.
Summary
We appreciate getting an opportunity to download a demo of software we are interested in; we don NOT at all appreciate the extremely sneaky attempt to inject other software in the process, CNET.
Not as good as predecessor
donpaske
Pros
It allows the transfer of files from a Mac to an iPhone or iPad.
Cons
DiskAid, the predecessor, allowed one to actually read Rich Text Documents on the mobile devices. iMazing does not. I don't want to have to convert everything to PDFs in order to use them on mobile devices.
Summary
Works, sort of.
Really nice app, but does not sync track numbers
rvlak
Pros
Friendly interface
Easy operation
Affordable
Cons
Track numbers erased
Playlists not recognised
Summary
When I transfer music from my Mac to my iPhone, all track numbers are erased (set to 0). As a result, the original song order of the album is gone, songs are instead ordered alphabetically. Trying to bypass this by creating playlists in the right order on my Mac and then trying to sync that playlist is no option, as iMazing only sees a couple of empty 'Genius playlists' and none of my custom playlists in iTunes. This makes the otherwise superb app really a no-go for me.
Truly Awesome!!!
