Fun and entertaining! Bus be aware that due to mature themes, this is not suitable for young children! <p> <p>After completing the game you can go to the authors website and play all the Dmods made by other users. Some of them were just as fun as the original. This is possibly the best free game i've ever played. I think at one time this was solde commercially before it was made freeware. I believe it. Anyway, definitly worth the download. You will spend many hours playing this fun game.

Good plot and easy controls. The dialog is a nice touch, much humor to be found in this game. The graphics are pretty good for how old the game is.<p>Definitely comparable to Zelda, though definitely different. The music isn't terrible, but it can get repetitive. The weapons in the game are pretty nice, it's pretty enjoyable once you get your first sword. The editor didn't work for me, but it seems pretty great. There are downloadable D-MODs which are user-made campaigns, and it's all free.<p>Oh, and the boss is hilarious. =D<p>There is no reason not to get this game.<p>P.S. i love the included quotes.txt lol

The game's great, but there are a few things that bothered me.<p>1. Only a few spells as far as i could get.<p>2. You only see the wizard at the beginning of the game...why?<p>3. Too addicting. ; ]<p>4. Seems short once you finish, even though i played for days.<p>Otherwise excellent.

I recommend it. This was a fairly good game all around, with decent graphics and story line, and funny conversations. I don't play many games like this one, but I was impressed. It's definitely a good game for being free. After I beat the game, I was left very interested in a sequel or more games from the same developer.
Cons
There are some parts in the game that could have been expanded to make the game play more interesting. I guess that's pretty good if the only bad thing I can say about the game is that there's not enough of it.

This might be the best FREE game I've ever played. The graphics are good, the story is interesting (not a lot of substance in the dialogue though). I haven't got into the D-Mods yet, but it looks like the game will last a very long time.
Cons
The initial controls weren't the best, especially on my laptop, but it's not too much trouble to change them around.
