"The cars cannot be controlled"
Version: DiRT demo
Pros
Amazing graphics
Cons
I have the Genius Speed Wheel 3 MT, and the cars cannot be controlled, when you turn the car go anywhere.
Summary
I played Need for Speed Undercover, Prostreet and Carbon, Monster Truck Madness II, CART Precision Racing and the games can be controlled, but in this games is impossible.

"unstearable using keyboard controls"
Version: DiRT demo
Pros
Nice graphics, ran well. Fast download.
Cons
Hopeless steering with only keyboard controls. Even in Rookie mode, I couldn't keep it on the track for more than 10 seconds! Perhaps it would be better with a good steering wheel setup but I tired of it and deleted it after about 10 minutes.
Summary
I can really get into games like NFS Most Wanted but this one is pretty much unplayable. Thumbs down, I'm afraid.

"great game!"
Version: DiRT demo
Pros
Very fun with great physics and realistic car damage. Graphics are amazing and it has a replay feature which you can make it be in slow motion, fast forward, rewind and a bunch of other cool stuff. Try it out!
Cons
You need a very good computer to run on completely full graphics, otherwise its fine and still looks great on medium and low.

"Didn't run - rubbish"
Version: DiRT demo
Cons
They must have worked for months to make this game, and then forgotten to check it actually worked on most people's copmuters. Idiots.
Don't bother with this. My computer runs everything, and this game just froze the whole thing. I had to do a hard reboot and uninstall. Complete waste of time.

"Same here the game does not run!!!! even the purchased version"
Version: DiRT demo
Pros
Graphics would be fantastic if the game ran!!
Cons
On seeing the demo version i hot footed it to the local PC World and bought the full version, After the long install process the game would not run smoothly, and had a lot of lag. on reporting the problem to Codemasters they pointed me in the direction of a massive patch that was meant to solve the problem.
I contacted them again and they told me my PC was not up to running the game, when i tod them that my pc was fully loaded with a core duo processor, 4 gig of Ram, Nvidia 8800 Ultra graphics card and a base score of 5.2 on Vista Experience Performance they soon change there minds that my PC was not up to the challenge.
They then asked me to run the DXDiag process to locate any issues, which never turned anything up.
This problem was running for weeks and un resolved so i had no choice but to return the game! my point to Codemaster is why say this is the game of the year when you have clearly not done the testing to make sure the game runs well on most capable gaming PC's
