Publisher's description
From BurningThumb.com :DRM Dumpster is the way to automate conversion of iTunes DRM tracks from your music library to standard music files. DRM Dumpster uses a CD-RW and COM to script iTunes to convert all of the DRM music files in your library (or in a play list of your choice) to files that you can use with any music player. With DRM Dumpster you can create MP3, AAC, Apple Lossles, AIFF, or WAV files from your DRM files. Since DRM Dumpster supports any iTunes importer, you need to make sure that the settings for the importer that you want to use are correct before running DRM Dumpster.

This software version | All versions -
Version: DRM Dumpster for Windows 1.0
Pros: There are no pros. It did not work.
Cons: The support is horrible. Could not get it to work after jumping through numerous hoops with support. Burning Thumb will not refund. They even sent me insulting and hostile email when I disputed.
Summary: Try before you buy! Don't throw your money in the dumpster.
-
Version: DRM Dumpster for Windows 1.0
Pros: Converts from protected AAC to unprotected
Cons: limitations to only converting in itunes; making it pretty basic and useless. Requires a blank CD, and uses the general DRM work around of burning then ripping from a CD (just this method requires this software). POINTLESS.
