Version: DIManager 6.5.1 build 192
"English menus are included! Excellent program!"
Pros: saves icon positions for each resolution change. Useful because remote desktop accesses from systems with smaller screen sizes will rearrange icons to fit onto smaller screen
Cons: Initially menus in german, but english is a choice if you can find it (not too difficult, just click on wrench icon, then sprachen (language) and select english.

Version: DIManager 6.5.1 build 192
Cons: I can't use it. It seems to place most of the icons where they were but it misses a few. Maybe it has a limit like 128 icons. I have about 145 icons give or take a few during the day.

"I think this program is fantastic."
Pros: It seems to me that my Desktop Icon placement gets messed up quite often. (changing monitor resolutions, trying out new programs, and sometimes for no reason at all) DIManager will put the icons right back where you had them. It doesn't confuse DIManager if you have added or deleted icons either. This program is small and simple and even though it will add itself to your tray (by the clock) you can just exit it untill you need to restore your icon placement again.
Cons: It may be too simple for some.
You should try "Iconoid" as well. It's also free and it has five or six other tricks that it will do. I never used any of "Iconoid's" other gadgets and personally prefer the simplicity of DIManager.

"GOOD ONLY FOR LOD'S OF ICONS ON DESKTOP"
Pros: easy to arrange icons and save for a neat and organized desktop
Cons: no use for most genral users.
you mostly update icons so it finally turns out to be of no use at all.
