It fits easily into my workflow - I am able to securely keep a selection of clips for regular use and a number of others that are disposable. Over the years I have had very very prompt, courteous & helpful advice from the developer.
Cons
Although it is easy to use once you have worked it out but I did not find the instructions easy to follow or very helpful. The FAQs do not display well in Safari.

This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com. I have tried iClip (now defunct), and Clips. Cuteclips just works. Clips just slowed my mchine right down and iclip is dead. Never had problems with cuteclips and bein able to paste as plain text by default is a treat. Exactly what I need as a developer. It's also the fastest and the most intuitive to use for me. I wrote the developer a couple of lines and got an immediate and thorough reply. Refreshing. The program gets updated regularly as opposed to most of the others.

This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com. I've used CuteClips for I-dunno-how-long (2-3 years). I tried a few other multi-clipboards and CC is best for me. Simple, intuitive interface, regular updates. Especially useful to me is the option of pasting formatted text as plain text. My only nit had been that it was occasionally s-l-o-w to scroll when you brought up the "chooser" interface. Haven't had that problem lately so I assume it's been fixed.

Brilliant app, especially since there are more clipboards in the classic mode. I am not much interested in the other mode as it is not as aesthetic, but I have had no problems with CuteClips in this mode. Brilliant application. No other is more simple to operate. For people with big screens and big workkloads (like me), 36-48 fields would be exceptional. :) Thanks Karsten. Really cool.

You can see it, feel it, even smell it Ã¢?? since the all new coded CC3 it is fast as lightning, has a very small footprint (memwise) and does what it is meant to do: paste what I want very quickly. I can't strike enough how good it feels to actually get quick repsonse from the coder whenever a problem occurs. You go around the block and there is your update already. Bricksoftware is a company others can learn from! Thumbs up for both CuteClips AND the service!

After using this utility for a little while, the memory consumed by it grew *very* large. In the Activity Monitor it reported that cute clips had consumed 648Megs of real memory. This is *huge* for just a clipboard utility....

I really liked version 1.1, and 2.0 brings significant improvements that keep this as my favorite clipboard app. The new version is noticeably faster for me, and I really like the added options for managing the clips -- including simple text editing of clips, and the ease of making a particular clip "sticky," so you can retain it in the app. All in all, a great job!

Use several clipboards at the same time.

CuteClips 3 is the brand new release of Briksoftware's great clipboard history. Focusing on simplicity, CuteClips 3 is the perfect history for everybody's clipboard. CuteClips 3 sits in the background and records changes to the clipboard. It keeps the last 12 clips, providing a big preview for all copied items.

We paid extra attention to the user interface of CuteClips 3. Finding clips in a list of text is much easier than finding a clip in a stack of images. As each clip is presented as text, there's room for an extra big preview.

Activate CuteClips from the menu bar or by using the hotkey. The default hotkey is Cmd-Shift-V but it can be customized in the preferences.

CuteClips 3 will stay out of your way until you need it. It will record changes to your clipboard in the background. Hit the hotkey and CuteClips will appear and be ready to help.
