"Google Images search does not work"

    December 13, 2011  |   By AshleyPou

Version: Cooliris for Google Chrome 1.12.3.48771

    Pros

    Images load fast when found

    Cons

Images for everything except Google image search seems to work great, Google image search does not seem to work. I let it run for quite some time and nothing ever loaded, just an image that it was searching. Seems to work with other search engines.

    Summary

Good product unless you are using Google Chrome. Works with IE and Firefox. I have not tried with other browsers except Google Chrome. Not sure if the problem is with Chrome or Cooliris.

    "Slow, slow, slow"

    October 31, 2011  |   By demiller66

Version: Cooliris for Google Chrome 1.12.3.48771

    Pros

    Beautiful interface

    Cons

I tried a google image seach and the screen produced a "loading" animation. It kept loading, loading, loading. Finally images appeared. Rather than popping up they loaded slowly and almost individually.

    Summary

If they could increase the speed, have it open automatically in full screen mode, and find more sites that would support it, it could be the future of searches (i.e. webpage snapshots could appear for a regular google search, not just photos). Now, that would truly be cool.
