CNET Editors' review
This tiny extension piece lets you preview and browse bookmarks without opening a new browser window or tab, though there are some inconveniences. Instead of placing additional toolbars or buttons atop your browser, Cooliris Bookmarks Previewer works in the background. To put it into action, simply hover your mouse over one of your bookmarks, and a preview window will pop up. From there, we were able to preview and even browse bookmarked pages from the preview window without actually launching the Web site. Cooliris Bookmarks Previewer worked reasonably well, used minimal resources, and didn't interfere with other plug-ins. However, we noticed that pages took a while to load and the preview window can't be moved or resized. While you certainly can get along without the slight convenience this application gives, compulsive Firefox surfers will appreciate this simple freeware.
Publisher's Description
From Cooliris:
Just mouse-over any of your bookmarks to view the Web site you bookmarked. With Cooliris Bookmarks Previewer, there's no more need to re-open bookmarks and tediously click on each link to just find the one you want. You can now just mouse-over then, surf them, and even find them on your desktop search results. Version 1.1 may include unspecified updates, enhancements, or bug fixes.
