Although many free jukeboxes duplicate the same functionality, this audio-conversion and CD-ripping utility earns points for its speed and ease of use. Convert MP3 can transform audio files among the four most popular formats: WAV, MP3, OGG, and WMA. You can configure the bit rates of your new files, but the program's wording leads us to believe audio quality is approximate. We would prefer to have the option to set specific bit rates such as 128Kbps or 192Kbps. The CD ripper can retrieve track information from the Web and does its thing just fine. The application's logically arranged interface makes it easy to add files to the queue, and you can convert tracks via the Windows context menu. In our tests, Convert MP3 demonstrated speedy performance, although the demo won't let you transform more than five files at a time. This program seems best suited to less experienced users who don't consider themselves audiophiles.Publisher's description
From Media Force Software :Convert MP3 converts MP3, WMA, WAV, and OGG file formats, and rips and encodes CD tracks. It also includes a tag editor, CDDB support, and an audio player, and integrates with the Windows shell. Quick conversions can take only two mouse clicks, and you don't have to leave the explorer.

"Quick and easy, but very limited options"
Pros: Installs and runs quickly. Rips cd audio very quickly and automatically gets album info from cddb so you can easily name files. Trial version will rip complete tracks. Very quick and simple, clean and easy to use interface.
Cons: Doesn't offer enough options and customizations. Trial version only converts 5 songs at a time, so requires a few cycles to get a full album ripped.

Version: Convert MP3 3.0.2.66
Pros: Fast conversion ... when it worked. Easy to understand UI.
Cons: Could never get the 'right click' working, even after uninstall/re-install and working with their tech support staff. Very cryptic error messages, some unexplained by their tech staff. There is a 404 on the website for the 'Update' feature. The 'Refund Policy' on the website is "Coming Soon". No drag & drop support to move files to the converter.
