Play Go via email or a peer-to-peer connection with buddies.Play on the IGS. Play on the DGS (turn based). Play against the GnuGo engine and use its analysis features.
Export diagrams in various formats, including kifu. Need unicode support for Asian languages (also available in IGS chats). Take images from goban positions and want to convert them to sgf and then broadcast the game on a Web site. Wish to create larger documents consisting of games, html, rtf and images, in a way "e-books". Version 2 can now convert goban images to sgf and games can be broadcasted to a Web site.

Version: CompoGo 2
Pros: The software is great for any Go enthusiast. I don't want to go in detail of what is Go. But if you are a beginner this software is a must.
Cons: The only bad thing is that when you open a sgf file it usually opens to tabs. I find the first tab to be completely useless.
