ClubDJ ProVJ provides tools for mixing audio and visual files like a DJ. With its impressive layout and simple operation, this fun program only suffers from its save-option flaw.
The program's interface demanded we visit the Help file tutorial. Although it looked professionally designed, its command buttons and options were unfamiliar. Fortunately, our confusion was quickly erased, and we were soon building a collection of audio and video files for mixing. The program allows you to drag and drop songs and films between two "Decks" for mixing. The individual decks adjusted the speed, pitch, and volume of each song or video, and you can add special effects like echo and delay. Melding both pieces together was as simple as clicking the "Mix" button. When two audio tracks were mixed, we thought the results were a little smoother than adding audio to a video, since it was hard to sync each up properly. We were disappointed by the program's apparent lack of a Save button. Nothing jumped out onscreen or in the instructions about saving our work. The program's special features made us happy by offering a bank of clapping, laughing, and cheering sound files to add. This program made the art of DJ mixing feel easy, though we wished we could figure out how to save files.
ClubDJ ProVJ shuts down after 25 minutes during its trial. It leaves folders behind after uninstalling. Though we wanted the ability to save files, this program was still fun, and we recommend it.

"$39 for just a great little program"

Version 6 is available on their clubdjpro site, unfortunately not yet uploaded onto downloads.com. I tried ProVJ5.. and it was ok... but a bit glitchy. The new VJ6 version works great for video & karaoke. Perfect solution for me (I don't always need video, but when i do, this product makes the most sense. Very easy to use, and does the job perfectly). I recommend it. especially if you get it while it's on sale ($39 cant beat it). Good support to, I emailed them and they got back to me within an hour or so.
Cons
As mentioned by someone else on here, it could use more video effects.

Auto-loading of playlist is really cool, so is the tempo control
Cons
Codec download issue from start, I solved by downloading Other codec packs. Red-green display, or no video playing without update. It also has a quirk, if you make any adjustments in the menu preferences section while it is playing it will drop the audio level when you leave the menu section.
Summary
Ok, took computer knowledge to make program work. Volume drop very annoying. Not worth full price of $199.00, better have understanding of codec pack installment.

Long time ClubDJPro customer. Some glitches with earlier versions, BUT the new version VJ6 is VERY GOOD! I like the fact that you don't have to read a novel about the program just to use it, everything is laid out in front of you just like a DJ console. 5 nice skins. Very stable for video and karaoke.

"NO SUPPORT - SAVE YOUR MONEY"

Excellent software when it works.
Cons
If you have any issues, the only support option is through email, which most likely, they won't respond to. My videos display as red / green, even after making the suggested adjustments per their website. Emailed them (3) times now, asking for a solution, and have not heard back in 2 months.
Summary
If given the chance, would take my money back, and purchase anything but this software.

It is as stated in the editor's review easy to use. No arguments there.
Cons
Ahhh! Had issues early with compatability, and tried to get help from them, and felt like I was beating my head against the wall! got bot responses, it seemed like I would never understand why it would cause my entire system to go down.
Summary
I have decided that given my few hundred bucks back I would have gone with PCDJ like everyone else. So much for being ahead of technology with something everyone else didn't have. Don't waste your time.
