Great features, bad layout and design

Pros
Loaded with features - if you can figure out how to use them. Twitter integration for filling cancels. Ability to print invoices and handle taxable/non-taxable services and products. SMS reminders ($). Lots of attention given to options and features. They have a free option for testing it out. Great tutorial videos on YouTube. Ability to customize just about everything, including emails.
Cons
Ugly Windows XP 2000 look gives a poor impression. Their own advertising is on every client page, no matter how much you pay you can't get rid of it. Clients are confused by the layout. Calendar views are confusing on both client and user side. Can't add new clients from user side (well, you can but clients still have to re-register themselves, creating double entries). Workflows are counter-intuitive and not client-centered.
Summary
On the client side, booking is VERY confusing. The booking screen has a Windows XP look to it, but with buttons and dropdowns galore for no reason. Example: SELECT button with no description of what they're selecting. Calendar views that are confusing. This is feedback from actual clients who have called and given up on the whole process and booked by phone. Most clients have been able to muddle through it though and booked online. But when it came time to use the provide calendar on my end, it was a whole different story. There are multiple different views - for example, you might be looking at a week view but it's some type of view-only mode where you can do anything but look at it and not make changes, even though you're logged in. WHY? I know this must have made sense to the programmers but it's pretty clear there was zero consultation with users. The whole process flow is wrong and does not reflect how clinics work. I've used MindBody, it's better in many ways BUT lacks features. Facebook one-click login is one feature Click4Time lacks. Someone needs to check through the whole site for typos, they're everywhere and it's pretty embarrassing. You know what the really crazy thing is? I'll probably keep using Click4Time because there's nothing better out there. And that's sad. Lots of room for improvements, but it starts with making it easier for the clients. After all, that's why a booking system exist, to make it easier and happier for clients.

Pros
Since I signed up with Click4Time it feels like my salon is open 24/7, I find most of my clients are booking appointments after 5 pm. I love seeing my appointment calendar fill up with new clients over night, Click4Time has made me more visible to new online clients using SEO and social media like Twitter and Facebook.
Cons
At first all the features seemed overwhelming, I booked a setup & guided tour with the helpful support staff and they had me setup in no time. When I called them I got through instantly, no holds or automation service. Awesome!
Summary
There is a free 2 month trial that has no limitation on functionality so you can enjoy all the features and support. Even better than that If you are trying to start your own service appointment based business in 2014 this service will be FREE up to 20 appointments per month. I have a small massage delivery business part time and I have not even had to give them a credit card number. Who is better than that?
