This free Internet Explorer add-on comes with several options for enhancing your Web surfing experience, but it's nothing to write home about. Click4Choice Toolbar unobtrusively attaches itself to your browser window. It houses a pull-down menu for browsing Click4Choice.com services, including a Web directory, shopping, and current movies and news.
The search field lets you browse the Internet with the help of several popular search engines, and thanks to the highlighter and zoom features, users can easily spot and zoom in on keywords. There's a link to look up weather information, but the toolbar itself doesn't include a shortcut or display for the weather. We were able to look up the weather for various locations in the United States, but the option to check the weather internationally did not yield any results. Unlike similar toolbars, e-mail notification and customization options aren't included. The pop-up blocker, which is included, failed to stop all pop-ups from appearing on our desktop.
Just because a toolbar is free doesn't mean you should settle for less than stellar performance. Users should look elsewhere for a free toolbar that not only works but offers more in terms of features.
The Click4Choice toolbar is a free browser ad-on that allows you to use Click4Choice search from anywhere on the Web. You can Search the Click4Choice Directory or choose to search Google, MSN, Yahoo, All the Web and Ask. The Toolbar blocks pop up windows, highlights search terms, allows Zoom in/out and therefore improved your surfing experience.
