Outstanding feature set, including the ability to create PDFs from any Windows application. Allows typing text onto a PDF page. Very easy & intuitive to use. This is an excellent pdf composer and I can print and add notes. As a reader, it's handled everything I've thrown at it with excellent clarity and definition (no blur when magnifying). No Spams No Malware unlike most download.com freeware.
Still, I could not find. All program may have some bugs, but they are aware of this and paying attentions if there is.
Editing features are outstanding
Conversion to other formats flawless
Price is very low compared to other software with similar or less features
All good ...
I needed a pdf editor to edit the various old invoices from my archive. I did a thorough research & shortlisted a few software. I tried a few others before downloading classic pdf. Don't think that I have ever gone from trial to paid version as quickly as for this one. It's a feature packed pdf editor & works extremely well. I can edit my pdf invoices as if I'm editing a text or word document. And mind you pdf editing was never that straight forward & still isn't with most of the other so called pdf editors out these. And the best thing with classic pdf is it's ridiculously low priced. It has almost the same feature set as Adobe Acrobat X / Pro, which is 10x more expensive.
There are so many negatives about this program that it's hard to list a positive. The only pro I can say is the ability to edit text fonts & size.
This program is super clunky. Trying to type text in close proximity to other text is problematic at best. It tries to combine text fields that are close by - example -- try to enter your separated Last, First & MI, in a block that encompasses the width of the sheet. Select the "Insert" text button, enter your last name. Not select the "Insert text" button again, move over to the area to enter your first name - the program will probably attempt to combine your last name entry and first name entry into the same box it creates. This program requires you to take entirely too many steps just to enter data in the correct places. And you can't print just 1 page of a multiple page document either. It's all or none. It took me a while to determine the quirks just to get text entered where it should be. Once I got a grasp on entering data & got everything entered on the form, I printed the 6 page form - remember I said it won't print 1 page. I entered text on 4 of the 6 pages........
Real cute. The cons field says 799 of 1,000 characters, but I can't enter more data.
Thankfully I'm only using the trial version & didn't pay for this worthless product. And I'm not paying for something until I try it first. To finish my "cons" section above, this program printed data all over the form. There is almost nothing I typed in a location it's supposed to be. And it printed several large black blobs, where it printed multiple text fields in one location.
I'm using it on a Win 10 machine, so maybe it won't work with 10. I may try it on a Win 7 machine to see what happens.
Extremely fast, reliable, stable
Accurate pdf editing
Cost is much low compared to competition with same feature set
Great customer service
I needed a pdf editor for my daily office work, where I have to make edits in the documents received from my customers all over the world. I tested Acrobat Pro. It was good but mighty expensive. I searched for a cheaper alternative & found Classic PDF. It has the same feature set as of Acrobat but comes at a much much lower price tag. It's fast, accurate & stable. Couldn't have asked for more or better.
Help files tell us nothing except the topic. Can't find a way to edit text in a pdf document. We try and lines of text start rotating... upside down... covering up other stuff on the page. It finally crashed and we had to reboot our big Dell Precision Workstation because we couldn't close the pdf editor. They don't allow an adequate evaluation period, and refuse to give a refund. You have open a dispute with PayPal to get your money back. Obviously they have no confidence in their product at all... and I can understand why.
A waste of time and a waste of money and people who snarky if you ask for a refund the day after you download it. Not the kind of people we choose to do business with.
* Lets you view PDFs (though I already have software for that)
* Can add text (though this feature is limited)
* Can add pictures or watermarks (still a bit limited)
* Can export PDFs to Word document
* Not free
* Can't add or delete pages
* Can't move pages
* Doesn't have any advanced features - in fact, it has very few features at all
Overall, this software is only good for adding limited pictures and text as well as converting PDFs to Word docs. This software is not advanced enough for my needs and it doesn't stand out from other PDF editing software or online editors. I would like to see the ability to add/remove/move pages, the ability to edit text in a more advanced fashion, and just more features that Adobe Acrobat has. Now finally, I am settled with another similar tool named Wondershare PDFelement:
Edits okay. Can add and delete pages quite nicely.
Cannot simply double click on a file to launch the program. Every time I use it, I have to right click on the program Icon then choose "Run as administrator", then choose "Open" from within the application, then browse for the file I want to edit. Extremely annoying - especially since I do a lot of work with PDF files.
