• Not Worth the Purchase

  + As far as updates go, they did fix a few bugs and update new features. + Adjustable screencapture

  Cons

  - Horrible customer support - Video/Sound quality is pretty bad if you're recording both from mic and webcam on messenger - Compatibility problems with (x64bit Win OS) - Compatibility problems with Windows Live Messenger

  Summary

  The concept was a great idea. The customer service used to be decent, but it went downhill when they stop replying to my emails and IM. They did not help me with my problem, but rather to downgrade different versions until it works. As for the newest update (v3.1.08), it has a Custom Region Selection feature that allows you to record a selection of your primary monitor (does not record secondary). Auto Selection does not lock on to the webcam. Sound quality is pretty poor, and has been tested on different computers. The biggest problem is that the files get corrupted at times, during the middle of a conference, or when you press 'Stop' to end the recording. Customer Service still hasn't replied about that situation. Tried many AVI recovery tools, and sadly, it's completely hopeless. For a trial version, feel free to try it out, but it's not worth the purchase.

  There is absolutely nothing positive about this software

  It does not play the recorded footage and the customer support staff dont reply to emails and on msn messenger

  Summary

  I have recently purchased camersoft's msn messenger video recorder suite and I can confirm ...It does NOT work. They told me it was compatible with Windows 7 and you can play the recorded footage on windows media player... that is a lie. They have had me downloading updates and installing new media playing software, however I can still not play the recorded footage. Once they ran out of ideas and they could not play the recorded footage either I requested a refund and now they have stopped contacting me altogether. I am now in the middle of taking legal action against their company. I warn you.... do not use this company, all they are interested in is taking your money. Be warned!!!!
